Manage your accounts and keep an eye on your balances with Text Alerts and text requests.

Text alerts

Limit alerts

We’ll send you a text when you’re getting close to or over your account limit. If you do go over the limit, you have until 3.30pm (UK time) that day to arrange a planned overdraft or to pay in enough money to cover all your payments.

Balance alerts

High and low balance alerts

You can set your own limits. High balance alerts will let you know when it’s time to move excess money into a savings account. Low balance alerts will help make sure you always have enough money in your account for the things you want to do.

Weekly balance alerts

Receive a weekly text with your balance and the last six transactions of the week. You’ll get to set the weekday and time you want your alert to arrive.

Credit card alerts

If you're registered for text alerts and also have a Lloyds Bank credit card, we'll send you a text to confirm that your payment has been applied to your account

Overseas transaction alerts

For added security when your Visa debit card is used abroad, we'll text to tell you whether it was a purchase or withdrawal from a cash machine. This should make it easier for you to spot any fraudulent transactions on your account and give you time to tell us about them.

Text requests

Order requests

Order a replacement cheque book or a paying-in book from your mobile. It’s faster and easier than visiting a branch, and will only be charged at your standard network rate.

You don’t need to register for text alerts to place an Order Request. Follow the instructions below and we’ll send you a message back to let you know we’ve received it.

  1. Send a text to 61119
  2. Include these details:
  • To order a cheque book: CHQ (space) your 6-digit sort code (space) your 8-digit account number. For example: ‘CHQ 123456 12345678’.
  • To order a paying-in book: PIB (space) your 6-digit sort code (space) your 8-digit account number. For example: ‘PIB 123456 12345678’.

If we have any questions about your order we’ll send you a message asking you to resend the details.

Under 16 years old?

If you’re between 11 and 15 years old with an Under 19s Account, you can apply for our Weekly Balance Alerts and Overseas Transaction Alerts. To register, visit your nearest branch with a parent or guardian.

Customers aged 11-15 with an Under 19s account can apply for Weekly Balance Alerts and Overseas Transaction Alerts by registering in branch with their parent/guardian.
