Our index aims to reveal how confident doctors, dentists and pharmacists are about their own businesses and the future landscape of the healthcare sector.
We began seeking views for our first Index in early 2011, at a time when healthcare professionals were responding to regulatory changes. We were able to determine a confidence index figure, against which we can now benchmark general feeling in the sector.
Below are some extracts from the latest survey – wave 7. This latest wave shows that short-term confidence is on the rise across all three sectors, a positive reflection of what has been a more settled economy across England and Wales. For more details on the results by sector, and a commentary from sector professionals, download the full report.
