  • Planned Overdraft

    You can apply for a tiered-interest and fee-free Planned Overdraft of up to:

    • £2,000 in your first year after graduating,
    • £1,500 in your second year, and
    • £1,000 in your third year.
  • Graduate loan

    Get help when you're just starting out with a graduate loan of between £1,000 and £10,000 over 1-5 years. You can:

    • get a personalised quote with no credit footprint,
    • manage your loan online,
    • make additional payments without any charges, and
    • pay off your loan early free of charge.
  • Credit cards

    We've a range of credit cards to suit your needs and help spread the cost of spending. Our credit cards have some useful benefits. You can: get up to 56 days' interest free on purchases; choose whether to pay off the minimum amount, the whole balance, or any amount in between; and set up a monthly Direct Debit to take care of this.   • Eligibility criteria

    To apply for a graduate loan, a Planned Overdraft or a Lloyds Bank credit card, you must be over 18 and resident in the UK.

  • Graduate loan

    You will need to be a Graduate Account holder for at least three months before you can apply for a graduate loan. All graduate loan applications are subject to approval after our assessment of your circumstances.

  • Overdrafts and credit cards

    All overdrafts are subject to our assessment of your circumstances and are repayable on demand.

It shows the effect of interest accruing on interest, in a situation where no repayments to the borrowing are made in a year. This allows you to compare rates across different organisations. The calculation does not include fees or other charges which are quoted separately. variable and a monthly overdraft usage fee will not apply. The overdraft interest rate on the next £1,000 will be 16.77% EAR variable and a monthly overdraft usage fee of £6 will apply. Based on a Planned Overdraft of £2,000 in year 3 of your Graduate Account.

Planned Overdraft

  • Setting up a Planned Overdraft is free.
  • You can apply for a tiered-interest fee-free Planned Overdraft up to £2,000 in your first year after graduating. In your second year of graduation the amount of your Planned Overdraft that is interest and fee-free will automatically reduce to £1,500 and to £1,000 in your third year.
  • All applications are subject to a review of your personal circumstances.

Switching with us

We can move your current account to a Lloyds Bank Graduate Account in just seven working days. Your standing orders and Direct Debits will be automatically transferred to your new account. All you have to do is let us know the date you want to be switched and provide details of the account you want to switch from.

Current accounts and services are offered subject to your status. They are available only to personal customers who are aged over 18, are resident in the UK, and are either an EU national or have permission to stay in the UK for at least 12 months.

Pop into any Lloyds Bank branch and our staff will be happy to help.

You'll need to bring a few things with you:

  • ID, such as a passport or driving licence
  • proof of graduation
  • proof of address, such as a utility bill (not a mobile phone bill) that’s dated within the last three months
  • bank statements from the past six months, showing evidence of your overdraft limit
  • your current debit card and letter of employment confirming your income (if this isn't included on the statements)

  • you've graduated within the past three years with a degree from a UK-based university
  • you're a permanent UK resident
