You get a range of benefits as standard, as well as cover for the usual things like theft, fire, flood and earthquakes.

Features and benefits

  • We'll repair or replace the contents of your home if they are lost or damaged by events including theft, fire and flood up to the sum insured. Inner limits apply.
  • Pay monthly by Direct Debit and there's no interest charged.
  • Receive a 10% discount in the first year when you buy Home Options Insurance as an existing Lloyds Bank customer. You'll be asked to confirm that you have an existing account or product with Lloyds Bank (such as banking, savings, credit cards, mortgages, loans or insurance) Once confirmed the discount will be applied to your policy. The discount excludes Home Emergency and Legal Expenses Cover. Conditions apply.

  • If you choose to add any of the optional extras to your policy you'll have to pay an additional premium for each one.

What is contents insurance?

Contents insurance generally covers things you’d usually pack up and put in a removal van if you moved home if they are stolen or damaged by events like flood, fire and extreme weather.

What does Home Options contents insurance cover?

You get a range of benefits as standard with our Home Options contents insurance, including cover for the usual things like theft, fire, flood and earthquakes, and:

  • a 10% boost to your insured contents sum at those special times like Christmas or a family wedding (up to a maximum of £3,000)
  • up to £7,500 for any single high-risk item
  • cover for accidental damage to computers, TVs, video and audio installations
  • cover for contents in the open within the boundaries of your home (£1,000 limit applies).
