Healthcare Confidence Index 2023 for GPs
GPs remain the least confident of the professions surveyed in 2023. Only 15% of GPs said they expect to increase profits in the next year, which reflects the increasing costs they face.
Staffing costs and locum fees stay very high. More so, they no longer have as much extra income from the COVID vaccination programme.
