Lloyds Bank Business Insurance Services are provided by leading broker, Arthur J. Gallagher so you’ll also benefit by receiving advise on products and your quotes being sourced from a wide range of insurers.

If the insurer offers you a lower premium at first renewal than the price it was initially fixed at, then you’ll get this lower premium in year two.

No obligations and no penalties if you choose to leave at the end of the first 12 months.

Flexibility to amend your cover if your needs change - your premium will simply be re-fixed at the new premium for the remainder of the two years (excluding optional add-ons).

Can I apply for the insurance offer before my business current account is opened?

Yes. The offer is available to customers who have opened, or are in the process of opening an account.

I currently have insurance with another provider, can I fix my premium if I switch my insurance to you?

Yes, if you take out a policy from one of the insurers participating in the fixed premium offer and do not have an existing and/or ongoing claim or investigation with your current insurer. The offer is available to customers who have, or who are in the process of opening, a Lloyds Bank business current account.

What happens if my circumstances change during the fixed premium period?

You can amend your insurance as your needs change and provided the insurer is still able to offer you cover, they will recalculate your premium and fix at this new price for the remainder of the 2 years (excludes optional add ons). If you choose not to renew your policy at the end of the first 12 months, there will be no penalties or fees applied.

I already have a product I bought through Lloyds Bank Business Insurance Services, can I fix my premium when I renew my policy?

The offer does not apply to customers with an existing business insurance policy sourced through Lloyds Bank Business Insurance Services or arranged by the provider Arthur J. Gallagher. The provider of these services, Arthur J. Gallagher, will search for the best offer available for you from their panel.

  1. These terms and conditions apply to the 2 year fixed price premium offer made by Arthur J. Gallagher Insurance Brokers Limited (“AJG”) in relation to business insurance policies (“the Offer”). Arthur J. Gallagher Insurance Brokers Limited, registered office: Spectrum Building, 7th Floor, Blythswood Street, Glasgow, G2 7AT. Authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
  2. The Offer is available to customers who have, or who are in the process of opening, a business current account with Lloyds Bank/Bank of Scotland and subsequently purchase a business insurance policy from one of the participating insurers through the AJG and Lloyds Bank/Bank of Scotland relationship by phone. Participating insurers will be advised at the point of quote and may change from time to time.
  3. The Offer applies to policies with an inception date between 19th October 2015 and 18th October 2016 (“the Offer Period”).
  4. The Offer does not apply to optional add-on products such as legal expenses cover or Insurance Premium Tax due on the premium, or to any premium finance facility.
  5. The Offer will only apply at first renewal.
  6. The Offer does not apply to customers with an existing business insurance policy arranged by AJG whose renewal date is during the Offer Period.
  7. The Offer does not apply to customers who have an existing and/or ongoing claim or investigation with their current insurer.
  8. If any changes are made to the cover, or there are any changes in your circumstances that would under normal policy criteria result in the premium being recalculated, then your premium will be adjusted to reflect the change of cover and this will be frozen for the remaining period of the Offer.
  9. If you cancel your business insurance cover, the Offer will come to an end at the next renewal of your policy. If you subsequently apply for a new policy, the Offer will not apply and your premium will be calculated using Insurer underwriting rules.
  10. If you have an ongoing claim or a claim under investigation at first renewal, the Offer will come to an end.  Your premium will no longer be frozen and will be calculated using Insurer underwriting rules. If you make a claim under any optional add-on policy, this will not affect the Offer.
  11. The Offer is not available in conjunction with any other offer, unless specifically advised by AJG.
  12. AJG reserves the right to amend or withdraw the Offer or these terms without notice at any time.  However, if you have made a purchase on the basis of the Offer then we will honour these terms without change.
  13. AJG will not be liable to perform any of its or the insurers obligations under the Offer where it or the insurer is unable to do so as a result of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond its reasonable control. AJG shall not be liable to compensate a customer in such circumstances.
