More ways to stay money safe

  • If your phone can do this, set up fingerprint or facial recognition on your phone and banking apps. This helps us make sure any payments are being made by you and not a fraudster.
  • Look out for the lock in the website browser address bar. It means the website you’re on is secure.
  • Stay up to date with your account activity by switching on mobile app notifications. If you notice any payments you do not think you’ve made, please get in touch with us and we'll help.

Freezing your card

If you’ve misplaced your debit card, but know it’s not lost or stolen, you can freeze your card using our Mobile Banking app. This stops it being used online, in shops or in other countries. Then you can unfreeze your card when you find it.
