Change your name

For security, if you need to change your name, you’ll need to visit a branch or write to us.

Although you can’t update your name online, you can complete and print the form you’ll need.

Log on or register for Internet Banking on a desktop or laptop computer. From the menu at the top of the page, select ‘Your profile’, ‘Change your contact details’, and then ‘Change name’.

We’ll need both your old and new signatures, along with original or certified copies of some documents, depending on the reason for your name change. Please bring the right evidence with you so that we can help.

  • Are you also a Lloyds Bank Insurance or Lloyds Bank Private Banking customer? Don't worry, we will let them know you have changed your name.

Not all insurance policies sold by Lloyds Bank are managed by us. This means we won't update your name on them. Please check your policy for contact details to change your name. It could affect your policy if you don’t.
