We will process your request now and we’ll write to you within 6 – 10 working days to let you know that your payment holiday has been cancelled and to confirm your new monthly payment amount.
Please remember;
- If your next mortgage payment is due in the next 10 working days, your payment holiday may not be cancelled until the following month. We will confirm the cancellation date when we write to you.
- If you’re cancelling a payment holiday that has already started, we’ll write to you to confirm your new monthly payment amount. This will be higher than before, to cover the interest charges and payments you missed.
If you cancel a payment holiday in the same month as it starts and you pay by Direct Debit, you will need to make a manual payment before the end of the month as your Direct Debit may not restart in time to cover the due payment. It’s important to do this, or your account may fall into arrears.
