Is financial advice right for me?

An initial conversation with a Private Banking and Advice Manager will cost you nothing, and there is no obligation to take any of our services or products. To take advantage of the service, you will need at least £100,000 in savings, and investments and/or including personal pensions or a sole annual income of £100,000. Before we provide you with any products or services, we will explain and agree with you what advice we can give, the products and services this advice covers and any charges that will apply.

How will a Private Banking and Advice Manager work with me?

First, and most importantly, they'll get to know you. Your initial discussion is the first step in gaining a clear understanding of your current circumstances and future goals.

Working together, we'll plan ahead. After your first conversation your Private Banking and Advice Manager will start to map out a detailed financial strategy for you, recommending ways that we could best help you achieve your ambitions.

We'll put your plan in place. Once you're completely comfortable with the strategy, we will work with you to implement the plan.

And review it regularly. We recognise that times change, and your goals and circumstances may well change with them. Which is why your Private Banking and Advice Manager will remain as your point of contact. They'll be on hand to help you review and update your plan whenever it's appropriate.

What other expertise will I have access to?

As a result of your discussions, it may be that your Private Banking and Advice Manager will put you in touch with the appropriate experts to benefit from specialist advice, or they may advise you on an investment plan suitable for you.

Tax guidance. Should your plan involve taking a fresh look at your tax situation, we can refer you to leading tax specialists EY LLP for impartial, professional tax advice.

Investment advice. All investment involves a degree of risk of course, but our experienced investment specialists will help you find the level that's right for you. We'll only recommend investments and products you feel comfortable with, and which suit your financial circumstances.
