We apologise to customers who have experienced problems using their debit cards and our ATMs

Yesterday afternoon and into the early evening, we experienced IT issues which prevented some customers from using their debit cards and withdrawing cash from our ATMs. We resolved the issues as soon as possible and everything was working correctly again from 7.30pm.

We know that these issues were unacceptable and we are working to ensure that we understand the root cause of what went wrong so we can prevent it from happening again in the future. We would like to sincerely apologise for the obvious inconvenience this will have caused our customers.
