To apply for a start up and small business account, you should:

  • have an annual turnover below £3m
  • have simple business banking needs
  • be a sole trader, partner or company director and be aged 18 or over
  • have no existing banking relationship with us, including other entities that are part of your business

A guaranteed switch in 7 working days from when your account is opened using the Current Account Switch Service. We will transfer all incoming and outgoing payments, transfer any outstanding credit or debit balance and arrange to close your previous account.
