Lending and financing products may require security. Lending is subject to our responsible lending criteria. How much we lend, the period and rate available are subject to our assessment of your circumstances. Specific eligibility criteria and conditions apply for certain types of lending. You must be 18 or over and a UK resident to apply. Lending is subject to status and application. Security may be required. Overdrafts are repayable in full on demand.

Financial Planning

Where Financial Planning is required, we will introduce you to Schroders Personal Wealth to help you make investment choices based on your financial goals.

Through our partnership with Schroders Personal Wealth we aim to create best-in-class investment and financial planning for our Private Banking customers.

To get advice from Schroders Personal Wealth, you’ll need to have at least £100,000 in savings, investments and/or personal pensions, and/or £100,000 of sole annual income.

Your Schroders Personal Wealth adviser will explain what advice they can give and what products and services this covers and any advice or product charges that apply and agree these with you.

Whether you want to grow your wealth, protect what matters most, aim to reduce risk to your capital in retirement or plan ahead for your children's education, your Schroders Personal Wealth adviser will guide you through the whole financial planning and investment process, helping you to assess what's involved.

Investing for the future

Your Schroders Personal Wealth adviser can guide you on:

  • Stocks and shares ISAs.
  • Unit trusts, OEICs and structured products.
  • Onshore and offshore bonds.
  • Pensions, including self-invested pension products (SIPPs).

Please remember that the value of investments, and the income from them, may fall as well as rise. Investors may not receive back the full amount originally invested.
