Changes to E-Investments

We’re updating our E-Investments accounts to give you more control.

What's changing?

Your E-Investments account is moving to become a Share Dealing Account or Share Dealing ISA. We’ll keep your money invested in the same funds and your charges will remain the same.

We’ll take care of the move for you – there’s nothing you need to do unless you’d prefer to choose another option.

All in one app

View and manage your investments alongside any other accounts using the app.

More about the app

Lower funding limits

Make one-off payments starting from £2 or set up regular monthly payments as low as £20.

More investments

Access a wider range of investments. Choose between UK and international shares, Funds, Investment Trusts, Bonds, Gilts and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs).

Managing your funds

As well as our Ready-Made funds which are managed by experts on your behalf, you’ll have access to thousands of other investments.

You’ll be able to continue holding your funds in your new account as you do now. If you make regular payments or have a Regular Investment Plan set up, these will be set up for you on your new account.

One-off payments into your account will no longer be invested automatically straight away. You’ll need to place an investment instruction to invest your money. If you’d prefer investments to happen automatically, you can set up a Regular Investment Plan. See our FAQs for more details.

If you already have a percentage-based investment plan any money not yet invested will be invested at your next regular investment date.

The account will be managed by you, so you choose when you buy or sell your investments and how much you want to invest or sell.

Any sale proceeds won’t automatically be withdrawn to your bank. The cash will stay in your account and can be reinvested or withdrawn once the sale settles in the market.

What are my options?

We know how important your investments are, so want to make sure you understand the options you have.

Whichever option you choose, we won’t charge you any fees for transferring.

Continue with Lloyds Share Dealing

From 12 September 2026, we’ll automatically move your investments and any cash to your new Lloyds Share Dealing Account and send you your new account code shortly afterwards.

Make sure you have copies of any historical documents you may need such as statements, or trade confirmations, and that your details are up to date.

Choose a new ISA provider

If you have an ISA, you can transfer to another provider.

We’ll need to receive the request from your new provider by 07 September 2026. Your investments will be sold and transferred as cash. If you try to sell your investments yourself, this will result in the cash being withdrawn from your ISA and it’ll lose its tax efficiency.

Sell your investments and withdraw the cash

If your account is empty by 10 September 2026 we’ll close it automatically. You don’t need to contact us. Selling investments may have tax implications such as Capital Gains Tax.

You can check your cash history if you are unsure whether your account is empty and ready to be closed.

Share Dealing terms

Make sure you’ve read and understand our terms and conditions, charges, order execution policy and data privacy notice for our Share Dealing Accounts. You should save a copy for your records.

Your account details

  • Your new account gives you access to a wider range of investments, including UK, US and European shares, funds, Investment Trusts, Bonds, Gilts and ETFs.

You’ll also be able to view and manage your investments through our mobile banking app and make one-off payments from £2 and regular payments from £20.

  • The first collection of your Lloyds Share Dealing fee will be April 2027, covering from September 2026 to March 2027. After your first fee collection, you’ll then be charged in October and April each year.

  • Yes, to do this you need to change your regular subscription.

    You can do this by:

    • selecting ‘Dealing’ on your account
    • selecting ‘Regular Investments’, and ‘Subscription Plan” then ‘Amend’
    • entering how much you want to transfer, how often, and the date.

You should also check your ‘Investment Plan’ to make sure all your money is invested as you intend.

  • You can do this by setting up a Regular Investment, see FAQ, or by a one-off payment.

For a one-off payment, you need to:

    • log in to your account
    • select ‘Account Management’
    • select ‘Fund and Withdraw’ and follow the instructions on the screen.

Once you’ve added money to your account, you’ll then need to give us an Investment instruction. To do this:

    • log in to your account
    • select ‘Dealing’
    • select the tab for the investment you want to purchase (UK, International or Funds)
    • find the asset you want to buy
    • enter the amount you want to invest
    • select ‘Deal now’.

Once this has been completed, you’ll get a contract note confirming the details.

    • Log in to your account.
    • Select ‘Account Management’.
    • Select ‘Change Debit Card’ and follow the instructions on the screen.
  • You can’t switch between the funds anymore. You’d need to sell your existing holding and then place an investment instruction for the new fund you want to buy.

    • Log in to your account and select the account where the investments are held.
    • Select the ‘Plus’ sign, then ‘Sell’.
    • Enter the number of shares to sell, or the amount you’d like to raise, for example £1,000.
    • Select ‘continue’ and if you’re happy with the quote, select ‘Deal Now’.

If you want to use this money to buy something else, you’ll then need to give us an Investment instruction. To do this:

    • select ‘Dealing’
    • select the tab for the investment you want to purchase (UK, International or Funds).

If you want to withdraw the money to your bank account when your trade settles, you’ll need to give us this instruction.

    You need to:

    • Select ‘Account Management'.
    • Select 'Fund and withdraw' and follow the instructions on the screen.
