To open the door to everything your Lloyds Bank World Elite Mastercard® has to offer, you’ll need to: 

  • Download the Mobile Banking App
  • Register for Internet Banking
  • Activate your card
  • Access your cashback and travel benefits in the mobile app.
  • Find out how you should access your travel benefits in the frequently asked questions below.

Adding another cardholder

  • Your additional cardholder will need to register and book their Priority Pass and Fast Track benefits using their own additional card and personal details.

Make the most of your card

  • You can activate your credit card in the Mobile Banking App:

    1. Sign into the app.
    2. Select apply.
    3. Select credit cards followed by activate credit card.
    4. Check the card details.
    5. Select activate.

    The main cardholder must activate an additional card.

    Other ways to activate your credit card.

  • To make sure you don’t miss a payment, set up a Direct Debit to pay your credit card bill. You can pay a set amount, the minimum payment or the full balance.

    Here’s how to set up a Direct Debit:

    1. Logon and go to the account you want to send the payment from. Select Pay credit card

    2. Select Pay by Direct Debit from the Ways to Pay page. 

    3. Enter the account number and sort code, and the monthly amount you want to pay. 

    4. Check all the details are right and select Confirm

  • Add another cardholder at no extra cost.

    World Elite additional cardholders get the full card travel benefits. You’ll also earn cashback on card purchases made by your additional cardholder.

    You can add a new cardholder online:

    • Go to credit card account summary.
    • Select More actions.
    • Select Account services.

    Or, via the app.

    Additional cardholders must be over 18 years old. As the main cardholder, you’ll be responsible for all spending and repayments on the account.

  • Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 is about your rights when paying by credit card. It means credit card purchases, over £100 and up to £30,000, may be covered if something goes wrong.

  • Add your credit card to your mobile wallet to make secure payments with your mobile device. You’ll continue to earn cashback on purchases. Register for Apple Pay® or Google Pay®.

  • Freeze certain types of credit card transactions in the Mobile Banking app. Or, if you’ve misplaced your card, freeze it until it turns up. 

    1. Sign into the app.
    2. Select Manage card at the bottom right of the screen.
    3. Select Card freezes and limits.
    4. Toggle on or off for the different options.

  • View your Lloyds Bank World Elite Mastercard® details in the app. So, you can make payments online or over the phone even when you don’t have your card to hand. You can view both the 16-digit number and the security code safely. 

    1. Sign into the app.
    2. Select Manage card.
    3. Select View card details.
  • If you forget your PIN, you can view it safely and securely in the Mobile Banking app.

    1. Sign into the app.
    2. Select Manage card.
    3. Select View PIN.
    4. Select to reveal.

  • Activate Everyday Offers and you can earn up to 15% additional cashback at selected retailers.

    1. Sign into the app.
    2. Select Everyday Offers.
    3. Select 'Yes i want Everyday Offers' and follow onscreen instructions.
    4. Activate offers and start earning cashback with selected retailers.

    Your cashback will be paid into your account at the end of the following month.

Frequently asked questions

  • When is the account fee charged, and how much is it?

    • The account fee is charged on your statement date each month. You can also see it on the View transactions page online.

    Is interest charged on my account fee? 

    • No, we don’t charge interest on the monthly account fee. 

    Can I close my account, and what happens to my account fee?

    • You can close your account at any time. Once the account is closed, we won’t charge the fee. 
  • What should I do if I can’t access my benefits or have issues using my benefits?

    • If you have any issues with your benefits or can’t access them, call us.

    What happens if I get a new card?

  • How do I register for Priority Pass?

    • You can access Priority Pass online or on the mobile banking app. 
      • Go to the Cashback and Benefits page.
      • Select Travel Benefits.
      • Select Priority Pass and you’ll be able to access your digital membership QR code. 
      • You can also find your level of access here. 
    • Or, register directly on prioritypass.com/LloydsBank where you can create an online account.

    How do I access airport lounges using Priority Pass? 

    • Use your digital membership QR code, or World Elite card to enter the lounges. 
    • Show your QR code or World Elite card when checking in at the lounge.
    • You’ll need to say that you’re a Priority Pass member.
    • Each cardholder must show their own QR code or World Elite card.
    • Entry to the lounge depends on availability. 
    • A fee is payable for any additional guests. 

    Can I pre-book airport lounges using Priority Pass?

    • Most lounges operate on a ‘walk up’ basis, but you can pre-book some of them. 
    • Pre-booked lounge access does have an additional charge, you can book them on – prioritypass.com/LloydsBank

    How does my additional cardholder use Priority Pass?

    • Additional cardholders need to register directly on prioritypass.com/LloydsBank
    • They’ll need to use their own card and personal details to register.
    • They’ll get their own digital membership QR code.
    • Each additional cardholder must show their own QR code or World Elite card.
    • If you try to add your additional cardholder as a guest through your account, you’ll be charged.

    Why is further authentication required when I use my World Elite Mastercard to access the airport lounge  for the first time?

    • If you have not enrolled for Priority Pass the card must be authenticated to allow access to the lounge and allow your World Elite Mastercard to be stored for future use.
  • How do I register for Airport Security Fast Track? 

    • You can access Airport Security Fast Track online or on the mobile banking app.
    • Go to the Cashback and Benefits page.
    • Select Travel Benefits and you’ll be able to access Airport Security Fast Track.
    • Or register at travelexperiences.mastercard.com where you can create an Airport Security Fast Track online account. Ensure you use a unique email address.
    • Once registered, you need to book each time you want to use the Fast Track service.

    How do I book Airport Security Fast Track? 

    • Once registered, you can see which airports have Airport Security Fast Track.
    • You can choose your airport to start the booking process. 
    • When you’ve made a booking, you’ll receive a booking confirmation email. 
    • You’ll be able to view and manage the booking in the booking section of the app or website.
    • You’ll need to show your confirmation at the Airport Security Fast Track location. 
    • A fee is payable for additional guests.

    How does my additional cardholder book Airport Security Fast Track? 

    • Your additional cardholder will need to book their own Airport Security Fast Track through travelexperiences.mastercard.com
    • They’ll need to use their own card and personal details. Ensure they use a different email address to you.
    • If you try to add your additional cardholder as a guest through your account, you’ll be charged.

    Why is a €1 authorisation held when making an Airport Security Fast Track booking?

    • The amount is held temporarily and will be released once the card has been authenticated.
  • How can I access Priceless? 

    • You can access Priceless online or on the mobile banking app.
    • Go to the Cashback and Benefits page. 
    • Select Priceless.
    • Or, you can access directly on Priceless.com where you can create an online account.

When will you pay cashback to my account?

  • Your cashback will be awarded monthly to your credit card account - the day after your statement date.
  • The cashback awarded will be for transactions on your last statement. Your cashback will lower your credit card balance but doesn’t count as your minimum payment - so you still need to make this payment as normal. 
  • If you close your account, any cashback you’ve earned before it’s closed will be paid to your credit card account.

When was my cashback balance last updated?

  • We normally update the cashback awarded on the day after your statement date. We show the total amount of cashback awarded since your last anniversary date.
How we treat refunds and credits 
  • If you have any purchase amount refunded or credited to your account, we’ll take off the cashback it originally earned. We’ll do that using the current cashback rate you would be earning it at. This will reduce your total card purchase spend amount. That could mean you earn cashback at the lower rate. It could also create a negative cashback amount. That means you could still accrue cashback but wouldn’t start receiving it again until the negative amount is earned back and reaches zero.

What is an anniversary date?

  • Your anniversary date is the same date each year – it’s linked to the date your account was first opened. 
  • Each year on your anniversary date, your yearly spend and total cashback awarded will reset to zero. The cashback rate will also reset – you can see the rate on the Cashback and Benefits page online or in our mobile banking app.

How do I earn cashback?

  • You’ll earn cashback on card purchases when you use your credit card. This includes purchases made by any additional cardholder. You won’t earn it on anything else added to your account.

How will you keep me updated on my cashback awarded?

  • You’ll be able to view your cashback balance through your Lloyds Bank credit card statement, Internet Banking and our mobile banking app. You’ll also receive your regular cashback balance update using push notifications, if you’ve set them up.
