Why set one up?

A Regular Current Plan lets you schedule current transfers in advance. This can be useful if you need to make regular transfers or send money at a certain point in time.

Who it's for

You can make Spot Foreign Exchange money transfers online if you've a international current accounts in euro or US dollar or a international savings account.

How it works

  • Decide how much you want to exchange, the start and end date for the transfers, and how often they need to be made.
  • The amount received will vary as the exchange rate fluctuates constantly.
  • A standard Foreign Exchange margin is applied to the booked rate so the rate you receive may be different to the booked rate.
  • Penalties may apply, dependent on account withdrawal restrictions.

Charges, fees and rates

Transfer charges

There is no charge for making or receiving international payments. However, correspondent and recipient bank charges may apply.

Transfers from your international accounts to your other accounts with Lloyds Banking Group are free of charge.

Foreign exchange charges

There are no foreign exchange charges for our Regular Currency Plan service.
