  • To accept credit card payments, you’ll need a payment solution such as a card reader, contactless payment machine, online gateway or virtual terminal. And you’ll need to ensure your setup complies with PCI DSS standards to protect customer data. Lloyds offers secure options for taking payments in person, online or over the phone.

  • Most card payments are authorised instantly. You’ll typically receive funds the next working day, depending on the settlement agreement.
