Instantly withdraw cash up to your ATM limit using your Business Debit card and pin. Withdrawals over Post Office® counters are free.


Cash deposits

  • You will require a pre – printed paying in slip to deposit cash at the Post Office®. As paying in slips are personalised, you must present your own slip with your cash to deposit.
  • Paying in slips can be obtained by contacting us in a Lloyds Bank branch or over the telephone.
  • You can deposit notes and coins at Post Office®.
  • Different types of outlets have differing maximum deposit limits – you should check the limit at the Post Office® you intend to use.
  • When you use a Post Office® branch to pay cash into a business account funds will take at least one additional day to credit your account.

Cheque deposits

  • Cheque deposits will require a specific cheque envelope and be accompanied by a pre – printed paying in slip.
  • Envelopes can be obtained from Lloyds Bank branches or from Post Offices®.
  • Cheques presented at Post Office® branches will take at least one additional day to credit your account
  • Cheques will be processed under the existing cheque clearing cycle.

If depositing cash and cheques at the same time, separate paying in slips will be required for each element along with a cheque deposit envelope for the cheques.

Important information

  • Charges for making deposits will be the same as in the branch but you will not be charged a credit in fee.
  • Every Post Office® has a cut-off time for paying in cash and cheques. The information above will apply if you pay them in before that time. If you deposit after the cut-off time an additional processing day will apply. Please check the cut-off time with the Post Office® you wish to use.

Withdrawals and Balance Enquiries

You are able to withdraw cash and check your balance using a Business Debit Card & pin number at Post Office® counters.

  • Withdrawals and balance enquiries require a Business Debit Card and PIN number. You can withdraw up to your ATM limit and these withdrawals are free.
  • Withdrawals and balance enquiries are instant.
