Hannah leads Sustainable Finance and Transition for Lloyds Corporate & Institutional, bringing deep expertise in sustainability strategy and bespoke financing solutions. Since joining Lloyds in 2023, she has supported clients in developing tailored sustainable finance approaches while helping deliver the Group’s own sustainability objectives.
Previously Head of Sustainability Strategy at Schroders, and with earlier roles at BlackRock and PIMCO, Hannah has extensive experience helping institutional investors integrate sustainability, shape investment strategies and design solutions aligned to long-term goals.
Sophie leads Lloyds’ Client and Energy Transition team, advising Infrastructure, Energy and Industrials clients on sustainable finance and transition strategy.
Previously a partner at Boston Consulting Group, she led global work on green debt capital market policy and taxonomies, adaptation and resilience strategies, and blended finance in emerging markets. Earlier roles include helping build TD Securities’ ESG Solutions team; sitting on the Advisory Council of the International Capital Markets Association's (ICMA) Green and Social Bond Principles; and writing green bond second opinions for CICERO.
Emily leads our carbon finance strategy, focusing on funding high integrity nature-based and engineered carbon removal projects. She guides clients in building robust offset portfolios and oversees the full lifecycle of carbon credits, while financing technologies such as biochar, BECCS and CCUS, and shaping blended finance models for nature restoration.
A key priority of her work is helping close the UK’s carbon removal funding gap by unlocking the private capital needed to scale domestic projects.
Shafna is a sustainability subject-matter expert, specialising in ESG ratings, non-financial reporting, and disclosures. She works with our Corporate and Institutional clients on Sustainability Advisory.
Shafna has extensive experience working in-house sustainability roles (previously for the London Stock Exchange Group) - leading on strategy, reporting, ratings, materiality assessments, governance, policy and investor engagement across several sectors and industries.
