Set up and use Google Pay

Set up in minutes and enjoy:

  • Simplicity: One less thing to carry, one more way to stay in control.

To protect you from fraud, we might occasionally limit the value or number of payments you can make using Google Pay and ask you to use your card instead. Some retailers may also limit payments to £100.

Steps to take

Google Wallet app

  1.  Download and open the Google Wallet app.
  2. Select Add to Google Wallet.
  3. Select the card you want to add then follow the on-screen instructions.
  4. Verify your card when asked.
  5. All done, you have added your card to Google Pay.

Google Pay is only available to customers who have a Visa Corporate Charge Card and Visa Purchasing Card.

Mobile Banking is available to Internet Banking customers. We don’t charge you for Internet Banking but your mobile phone provider may charge for some services. Please check with them. Phone signal and functionality may affect services. Terms and conditions apply.

Google Pay is not available on all debit cards, credit cards and accounts. Google Pay app must be downloaded and is available on Android devices with contactless capability (NFC), running on the Android 4.4 KitKat Operating system or newer.
