Lloyds Banking Group has been recognised as the winner of two categories at the highly prestigious annual Euromoney Awards for Excellence, event held in London. For the first time the Group has been awarded the Best Bank in Western Europe for Corporate Responsibility and for the seventh year running, the Group was also presented with Best Bank in the UK.
Euromoney's Awards for Excellence were established in 1992 and were the first of their kind in the global banking industry. They honour those institutions which have brought the highest levels of service, innovation and those who excel in their markets. This is recognition of the tangible difference the Group’s approach to responsible business is making to people, businesses and communities all over the UK.
Lloyds Bank has been named 2017 Greenwich Quality Leader in European Large Corporate Trade Finance in the UK. The research from Greenwich Associates highlights a combination of our sales, product and operations quality based on client interviews carried out with key decision makers in European companies with at least a 500 million euro turnover.
Lloyds Bank has been named Banking Partner of the Year for the London Insurance Market for the second year running having won the inaugural award in 2016. This win reflects the bank’s long track record of supporting the UK insurance market. The UK insurance market is the third largest in the world and London is the global centre for internationally traded insurance.
For the 14th consecutive year Lloyds Bank has been voted Business Bank of the Year at the FDs’ Excellence Awards, supported by Real Business.
