Corporate & Institutional Debt Team

The Corporate & Institutional Debt Team (CIDT) provides an end-to-end debt proposition across the Corporate & Institutional Coverage (CIC) client base. This covers origination, execution and ongoing management of significant credit events.

A centre of excellence in debt, the team of 45 has a national footprint, working closely with CIC client coverage teams across sectors, including corporate trading sectors, Real Estate & Housing and Financial Services.  The team’s role is to support  clients with  financing strategies and structuring transactions, delivering an excellent client experience through execution, and ongoing management of credit events in the portfolio. The team  also acts as a gateway to the wider Sponsors & Structured Finance offering.

Through a single-view approach to a high volume of debt transactions (300+ per annum), the team can deliver a more consistent, efficient and expert service,  supporting origination activity and ensuring a more rigorous oversight of credit risk and balance sheet management.  

The core product suite is corporate Revolving Credit Facilities and Term Loans for general corporate purposes and working capital & liquidity, as well as acquisition financing and shareholder liquidity events. The team also support clients in refinancings, facility amendments and extensions.
