In partnership with the Manufacturing Technology Centre

Since 2015, we’ve worked in partnership with the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC), to develop the skills, research and technological innovations the sector has needed to compete on a global scale. Seeing the difference this partnership is making to the industry, we have now extended our collaboration through to the end of 2029, with a total sponsorship of £15 million.

“The extension of this partnership and the increase in funding will mean we can deliver more apprenticeships and training that will enable the UK to maintain its position as a global manufacturing leader.”

Clive Hickman OBE
CEO, MTC
