How the Cash In & Out machines work

If you have paid in the wrong amount of cash, don’t worry - the cash paid in shows in your account instantly. You can withdraw the cash out straight away if you need to.

The machine checks and counts each note individually. If the amount doesn’t look right, just select ‘Cancel’. The machine will stop the transaction and return your money straight away.

Call us, and our telephony team will help you raise a dispute. You can also visit a branch and we can look into this for you.
Your cash is safe while we investigate your dispute. We’ll keep it protected and we’ll update you as soon as your concerns are resolved.

The machine won’t accept any further deposits if you’ve reached your monthly paying in limit. If this happens, visit your local branch to complete your deposit. If you need more information about your limits, call us or speak to a colleague in a branch.
