Get help at the roadside
If your car’s broken down, call the RAC for breakdown cover on 0330 332 8477 or +44 330 332 8477 from outside the UK.
Lines are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Fix damaged windscreen or windows
If there’s damage to your windscreen, side or rear windows or sunroof, book a repair on the AutoWindscreens website. Or call 0330 018 7503 or +44 330 018 7503 from outside the UK.
Sort out a key problem
For key cover, call 0345 303 4002 or +44 345 303 4002 from outside the UK.
Not sure you need to claim?
Sometimes you might decide it’s cheaper to fix things yourself than make a claim. But no matter how small the incident, you need to get in touch, so your records are correct and you have the right cover, even if you don’t claim.

It’s time to review your claim
Your claim will be checked (including whether it affects any no claims discounts you have). And you’ll be contacted if:
- you need to pay an excess
- your no claims discount is affected
- you need to give more evidence.

Make a claim online
If you need to make a claim for any of the following reasons, you can do this from your account:
- You were involved in a road traffic accident (but you’re no longer at the roadside).
- Storm or flood damage.
- Malicious damage or theft.
- Lost or stolen keys.
- Wrong fuel.
Call for urgent help after an accident
If you’ve been involved in an accident and need support at the roadside, call 0330 024 6405.

To repair or replace your damaged windscreen or windows, book online with Autoglass. Or you can call 0330 024 6862.
