Your right to know what personal information we hold about you

Sharing personal information is part of our daily lives. It's something we do when we shop, phone a business, or use the Internet. The companies and services we use collect this information for many reasons, such as preventing fraud.

You have the right to know what information Lloyds Banking Group holds about you. There are several ways to get a copy of this, depending on what you need.

How do I request my personal information?

Most of the time, you can access what you need without writing to us to ask for it. You can easily view most of the information we hold about you through our mobile app or online banking.

If you need support in finding what you need, you can call us.

If you want to know something specific or have been unable to find the answer to your question, you may want to make a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) instead.

Do you want specific information?

Let’s look at the details

  • A Data Subject Access Request (or a 'DSAR') is a way for our customers to gain access to all of the information we hold about them. This information may also be referred to as data.

When you make a DSAR we will share this data with you. You can also ask us how we use this data, who it is shared with, and where it came from.

You can make a DSAR in writing or using an online form. It's simple and free, and you will get a response in one calendar month.

For more details, see our privacy notice.

  • Complete our online Data Subject Access Request form.

If you would prefer not to use our online form, you can print out and complete a PDF version of the form (133kb) instead. Post it to this address:

    Data Subject Access Request Team
    Lloyds Banking Group
    The Green Building
    Kirkstall Road
    Leeds
    LS78 1LB

  • Lloyds Banking Group has up to 1 calendar month from receipt of a request to respond. But where a request is considered complex for example, due to a high volume of data, multiple accounts or products, an unspecified or extensive timeframe, or other factors the response period may be extended to up to 3 calendar months. In such cases, you will be informed of the extension and the reasons for it.
