How to change your telephone number.

It’s quick and easy

  • Our app is the simplest way to change your telephone phone number.
  • It can be done in just a few short steps.
  • It gives you an extra layer of security when you shop or bank online.

To update your telephone number

  • 1. Log on

    Log on to Internet Banking.

    2. Go to 'Your profile'

    Select ‘Your profile’ in the navigation bar at the top of the page.

    3. Select contact details

    Select 'Change your contact details' under 'Your personal details'.

    4. Choose 'Change phone number'

    Select ‘Change phone number’ under 'Your contact details'.

    5. Update your phone number

    From here, you can add and update your all of your phone numbers.

    You will need to re-enter your password to confirm that it is you.

    6. All done

    That's it, you've updated your phone number. The change will take place immediately.

  • The quickest way to update your phone number is online, either using our app or Internet Banking.

    If you're not able to use our online services then you can drop into your nearest branch. Or phone us on 0345 300 0000 (+44 1733 347 007 from outside the UK). 8am – 8pm, seven days a week.

    Not all Telephone Banking services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

    To change your number over the phone you will need to be registered for Telephone Banking. We will also need to confirm that it's you by asking you for one of the following:

    • Telephone Banking security number
    • Telephone Banking password
    • Voice ID

    You can also call via the Mobile Banking app where we will ask you to verify it's you via the app.

1. Log on

Log on to our app.

2. Select 'profile'

Tap the 'profile' icon in the top right hand corner of the app.

3. Update your details

Tap 'edit' next to your phone number and then follow the on-screen commands.

You will be asked to enter your password to confirm it's you.

4. All done

That's it, you've updated your phone number.
