Request a change to your monthly payment date

Managing your mortgage direct debit is easy in our mobile banking app or by using online banking. Just head to the Home Wise space.

With Home Wise, you can:

  • view your current direct debit details
  • change your direct debit date
  • change the bank account from which your direct debit is collected
  • change the bank account and date for your direct debit.

You can also update your direct debit payment date using our online form. Once we’ve updated it, we’ll send written confirmation to you.

What you need to know

  • Your chosen payment date needs to be between the 1st and 28th of the month.
  • Direct Debit payments are requested 5 days before the due date e.g. If you pay your mortgage on the 20th of the month, we would request the funds on the 15th.
  • Your monthly payment amount may rise or fall after you change the date we collect the money from you.
  • We can only deliver to the correspondence address we currently hold on our system.

Please note: If you make a change within seven working days of your current payment date, it won’t start until the next month. As a result, you might make two payments in a short space of time.

For example, if your current payment date is at the end of one month and you change it to the start of the next, you may end up making two payments close together.
