Lloyds Bank Car Insurance Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions are applicable to new online customers entering the Lloyds Bank Car Insurance Prize Draw (the ‘Prize Draw’) on or after 1 August 2025.
This Prize Draw is promoted by Lloyds Bank Insurance Services Limited (‘Lloyds Bank’).
By entering this Prize Draw, entrants accept these Terms and Conditions.
The prize is a new hybrid Golf Hatch GTE 1.5 TSI and one year’s comprehensive motor insurance.
The car insurance for this vehicle will be arranged, administered and underwritten by AXA Insurance UK Plc (‘AXA’).
One online customer will be selected at random from all eligible entrants on 16 December 2025 to win the Prize Draw.
Who is eligible for entry into the Prize Draw?
The Prize Draw is open to new customers of Lloyds Bank car insurance who purchase, directly via a quotation from the Lloyds Bank website, a car insurance policy between 1 August 2025 and 31 October 2025. A customer’s insurance policy must be in force, with relevant payments having been paid on the date the Prize Draw takes place, for them to be eligible to win.
Entrants must be residents of the UK, excluding Northern Ireland.
Entrants must be customers named as the main driver on the policy to be entered into the Prize Draw. Only one entry per customer. Entries on behalf of another person are not permitted.
Entrants must be aged 21 years or over at the time of purchasing a car insurance policy.
Customers who purchase a new car insurance policy via a price comparison website will not be entered into the Prize Draw.
Customers who purchase a new Lloyds Bank car insurance policy prior to 1 August 2025 will not be entered into the Prize Draw. Policies due to start after 30 November 2025 will not be entered.
The Prize
The prize consists of a hybrid Golf Hatch GTE 1.5 TSI and one year of comprehensive car insurance.
The car will be taxed for a period of 1 year and the V5 document will be in the winner’s name.
The car insurance product will be Lloyds Bank Car Insurance Gold (the ‘Winner’s Policy’), which will include:
- protected no claims discount (where eligible)
- legal assistance
- breakdown cover (which may be upgraded at the winner’s cost)
- courtesy car upgrade
- voluntary excess £0 (with standard comprehensive excess).
The Winner’s Policy will include such valid no claims discount and named drivers as were added to the Lloyds Bank car insurance purchased during the competition window (‘Old Policy’). No claims discount will only be applied to the Policy if (a) the Old Policy is cancelled and (b) it is transferred from the Old Policy. If the winner cancels the Old Policy, no cancellation fee shall be charged. The winner must maintain their account on the Lloyds Bank website and ensure all details are up to date.
The prize is non-transferable and no cash-alternative is offered.
The car will be delivered to a Lloyds Bank site for collection.
The winner will be required to take part in reasonable publicity in connection with the Prize Draw, including the publication of their name, geographic location and photograph, unless the winner notifies Lloyds Bank of his/her objection.
The Prize Draw
The winner will be notified by telephone or email using the contact details provided on the insurance application, within 30 days of the Prize Draw selection date of 16 December 2025.
If the winner has not responded to accept the prize within 15 days of being contacted, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and Lloyds Bank will be entitled to re-draw the winner under the same Terms and Conditions.

General Conditions
Lloyds Bank may vary these Terms and Conditions without notice, at any time.
Lloyds Bank and AXA accept no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities or disappointment incurred or suffered by a customer as a result of entering the Prize Draw or by the winner as a result of accepting the prize.
Lloyds Bank and AXA shall not be liable for any additional expenses incurred by the winner in connection with the prize.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
These Terms and Conditions will be published on the Lloyds Bank car insurance website.
