We may restrict the value or number of payments you can make using Google Pay. Carry your debit or credit card with you just in case.

Steps to take

We’ll guide you through it.

At the moment, this works for debit cards only.

  1. Log on to our app and select Manage card on the bottom right. Then select Google Pay.
  2. Find the debit card you want to add. Then select Add to Google Pay.
  3. Confirm your debit card details and accept the terms and conditions.
  4. All done, you have added your card to Google Pay.

Google Pay is not available on all debit cards, credit cards and accounts. Restrictions include: Electron cards, Visa credit cards and additional credit card holders, non-personal accounts, Basic Bank accounts and customers under 13 years. Google Pay app must be downloaded and is available on Android devices with contactless capability (NFC), running on the Android 4.4 KitKat Operating system or newer.
