All the information you need to change your name, address or telephone number.

Change your name

For security reasons, changing your name cannot be completed online.

Drop into your local branch taking the appropriate acceptable evidence with you as detailed below:

For divorce situations:

  • Divorce Papers or Decree Absolute AND a Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificate or Deed Poll/copy of entry in the Register of Corrections (Scotland only).

For other situations:

  • Deed Poll (not available in Scotland)
  • Marriage Certificate/Civil Partnership registration document
  • Statutory Declaration
  • Copy of entry in Registry of Corrections (Scotland only)
  • Amended birth certificate issued by Registrar General, Edinburgh (Scotland only)
  • Adoption Certificate.

If you have accounts or other products or services with one or more of the following parts of Lloyds Banking Group or companies, we will inform them of your new details: Lloyds Bank Credit Cards, Lloyds Bank Insurance, Lloyds Bank Private Banking. If Lloyds Bank Insurance has arranged a policy for you through a separate insurance company you will still need to contact that company directly, as your failure to do so could affect your insurance cover.

If you are moving abroad, the change is for a child’s account, or you need letters sent to more than one address, please visit your local branch.

  2. Then select 'More' and click on your name. 
  3. Select your address and then follow the on-screen commands.

  • Name
  • old address
  • new address
  • product account or policy number
  • date of birth
  • phone number or email address
  • signature.

For accounts or other products or services with one or more of these Lloyds Banking Group companies: Halifax, Bank of Scotland, MBNA or Lloyds Bank Private Banking - we will update them with your new address.

 

For any insurance set up by us, please contact your provider to update them with your new address. It could affect your policy if you don’t.
