Change your address

If you are moving abroad, the change is for a child’s account, or you need letters sent to more than one address, please visit your local branch or call us.

Our  app is the simplest way to change your address. It’s quick and can be done in just a few short steps.

  1. First you’ll need to log on to the Mobile Banking app.
  2. Tap 'profile' icon.
  3. Tap edit next to your address and then follow the on-screen commands.

Other ways to change your address

  • You can visit your nearest branch to change your address.

  • If you're registered with PhoneBank call us on 0345 300 0000 (+44 1733 347 007 from outside the UK). If you’re hard of hearing or have a speech impairment, you can contact us using Textphone on 0345 300 2281 (+44 1733 347 500 from outside the UK).

  • You can write to us to change your address as well. Please send a letter to:

    Please quote the following reference number: P1COA. We will also need your:

    • Name
    • Old address
    • New address
    • Product account or policy number
    • Date of birth
    • Phone number or email address
    • Signature.

    If you have a product or service with the following parts of the Lloyds Banking Group we'll let them know you've changed your address:

    Halifax
    Bank of Scotland
    MBNA
    Lloyds Bank Private Banking.

    For any insurance set up by us, please contact your provider to update them with your new address. It could affect your policy if you don’t.

It's important that we have your telephone number. Your phone will provide an extra layer of security when shopping and banking online.

Change your name

To change your name, you'll need to visit one of our branches. Please bring valid evidence with you as detailed below:

For divorce situations:

  • Divorce Papers or Decree Absolute AND a Marriage Certificate and one of the following:
  • Birth Certificate
  • Deed Poll
  • Copy of entry in the Register of Corrections (Scotland only).

For other situations:

  • Deed Poll (not available in Scotland)
  • Marriage Certificate/Civil Partnership registration document
  • Statutory Declaration
  • Copy of entry in Registry of Corrections (Scotland only)
  • Amended birth certificate issued by Registrar General, Edinburgh (Scotland only)
  • Adoption Certificate.

If you have a product or service with the following parts of the Lloyds Banking Group we'll let them know you've changed your name:

Lloyds Bank Insurance,
Lloyds Bank Private Banking.
