You can’t currently apply for a Basic Account. But you might be offered one if you don’t qualify when you apply for one of our other current accounts.

Vantage is no longer available with new current accounts or as an upgrade option for existing customers. From 3rd May 2016, no credit interest is paid on Vantage accounts and Vantage terms and conditions no longer apply. Vantage will be removed from account names shortly after this. This will not affect any of your other account features.
