Let's break it down

Application basics

To qualify, you need to:

  • be a UK resident
  • be aged 18 or over
  • have a regular income.

Good to know

You won’t qualify if you:

  • are unemployed or a student
  • have bankruptcies on your credit file
  • have County Court Judgements (CCJs)
  • have Individual Voluntary Agreements (IVAs)
  • have been declined for a Lloyds credit card within the last 30 days.

Before you go ahead

Ask yourself

As well as fees and charges, you could lose any promotional rates if you don’t meet the terms of your account. For example, if you don’t make at least the minimum payment on time each month. If that happens, the standard account interest rates, fees and charges will apply.

Also, keep in mind that things like carrying high debt balances, missing payments and going over your credit limit could negatively affect your credit score.
