Latest news - Brexit

This is an uncertain time with the UK’s exit from the EU still to be agreed. If you're concerned about Brexit and the impact to your existing van insurance policy, we're here to help. Find out the latest information and what the changes could mean for you.

Could Brexit affect your van insurance?

You may have seen in the news recently that in the event of a no-deal Brexit, you will need to get a Green Card as proof of insurance to drive in the European Union (EU).

However, the European Union (EU) has recently granted the UK an extension to the Brexit process until 31st January 2020. This means that Green Cards are currently not required for driving in the European Union (EU) before the 31st January 2020. We will continue to monitor Brexit developments and if there is a need for us to issue Green Cards for travel after 31st January 2020 we will provide a further update.
