Guaranteed Replacement Van Cover

With Guaranteed Replacement Van Cover you get:

  • a replacement van as soon as possible if your van is stolen, written off or is no longer drivable following a fire, theft or accident claim
  • up to 28 days of cover – which can be spread over more than one claim
  • your choice of replacement van:
    • car-derived van (similar to a VW Caddy or Renault Kangoo)
    • short wheelbase van (similar to a Vauxhall Vivaro or Renault Traffic)
    • long wheelbase van (similar to a Renault Master or Mercedes-Benz Sprinter)

A refundable fuel deposit is required when obtaining the replacement van. This cover is only available in the UK or Isle of Man.

RAC Breakdown Cover

Wherever you’re heading, a breakdown’s always going to be the last thing you want. But it can happen. To make sure you stay on the road, you can add RAC Breakdown Cover to your policy.

 

Levels of cover

Breakdown Cover comes with certain services and levels. These include:

  • Roadside Assistance: assistance at the roadside if you’ve broken down more than a quarter of a mile from home.
  • At Home: you get assistance if your vehicle doesn’t start and is within a quarter of a mile of your home address.
  • Recovery: you get transport for you, your vehicle and up to seven passengers to your home or any other (single) UK destination, if the RAC can’t arrange a prompt local repair.
  • Onward Travel: includes car hire, payment for public transport and even hotel accommodation if you need it to complete your journey.
  • EU: covers you for travel in European countries.

If your tools are vital to your business or maybe you use your van to carry materials, stock or goods, then our Tools and Van Contents Cover protects you from loss or damage whilst you’re on the move. Also, as long as your van is securely locked, we’ll also protect your tools and contents overnight.

Tools and Van Contents Cover giving you the option to choose the level of cover that you need. You also get these great benefits as standard:

  • Cover for your tools, stock, machinery or equipment
  • Cover whilst loading and unloading
  • Cover for your goods from the point of loading until they reach their final destination
  • Up to £500 ropes and sheets cover

Motor Legal Protection

As the driver, both you and any passengers could be left out of pocket following an accident. Our motor legal protection is here to support you and your business. The 24/7 legal helpline means there's always someone at the other end of the phone to offer assistance.

If you have an accident that isn’t your fault, our motor legal protection policy provides cover for up to £100,000 of legal expenses to help with:

  • obtaining compensation for personal injury and medical expenses
  • recovering losses resulting from the accident (e.g. policy, excess, loss of earnings, phone bills and travel costs)
  • recovering repair costs if not already covered by comprehensive van insurance
  • recovering vehicle hire charges.

As long as there are reasonable prospects of you winning your case and the estimated legal costs don’t outweigh the amount you're claiming, a solicitor will be instructed to act on your behalf, giving you peace of mind and a hassle-free solution when you need it most.

You'll also receive motor prosecution defence cover if you're facing suspension or disqualification. You'll receive up to £20,000 of legal expenses to help with your case, as long as there is a reasonable chance of avoiding suspension or disqualification. This cover doesn’t include fines or penalties or any charges relating to alcohol or drugs.

Keycare Cover

It’s easy for keys to go missing, which is  why we offer Keycare cover. Keycare will come to the rescue when you need it.

No matter when you lose your keys, Keycare will be there to help.

With Keycare Cover, you benefit from:

  • Call out and cover anywhere in the European Union up to £1,000
  • Cover if you lock your keys inside your car or home. Including locksmith charges, car hire for up to 3 days and replacement keys (within the annual limit per policy year)
  • A 24/7 helpline – no matter when you lose your keys, Keycare will be there to help. Please remember to let us know if you have lost your keys within 30 days
  • Cover for the immediate family members (Grandparents, parents, spouse, civil partner, live-in partner, child or step child) who live at your address
  • No excess to pay, and Keycare claims won’t affect your no claims discount
  • A £10 reward paid by Keycare to anyone who finds and returns your keys.

No Claims Discount Protection

No Claims Discount Protection is provided and administered by BISL Ltd.

No Claims Discount (NCD) is a discount applied to your van insurance premium for the number of years in which you haven’t made a claim to your policy. For each year you’re insured without making a claim you’ll earn another year’s NCD, up to a maximum of nine years (minimum premiums apply). To find out your number of NCD years, please look on your latest renewal invitation from your van insurance provider.

If you have 4 or more years NCD you may be able to protect the number of years discount you have accumulated for an additional cost by purchasing No Claims Discount Protection. With NCD Protection, you are able to make two fault claims within a three year period without it reducing the NCD applied to your policy premium.

If selected, the cost of No Claims Discount Protection will be calculated as a percentage of the insurance policy premium. The stand-alone price for this additional option will be displayed on your price presentation page.

No Claims Discount Protection:

  • allows you to make two fault claims within a three year period without it reducing the NCD applied to your policy premium.
  • does not protect the overall price of your insurance policy. The price of your insurance policy may increase following an accident even if you were not at fault.
