Step by step guide to registering

1. Personal details

We’ll ask for your name, date of birth, postcode and account details for one of your Lloyds Bank accounts.

2. Log on details

Next you’ll create your User IDUser ID: Must be 9–30 characters. Use letters and numbers to create a unique ID, for example volcano40 or 372scubadive.  and passwordYour password must be 8–15 characters. Make it hard to guess and different to your user ID. Use letters and numbers, but not spaces or symbols. Remember: never share these details with anyone. . For Mobile Banking, depending on the type of phone you have, you can log on securely using your fingerprint or Face ID.

3. Security check

You’ll see our terms and conditions at this point. Now we’ll do a quick security check to make sure it’s you. Select which phone number you want us to call.

4. Verification

Make a note of the 4-digit code you see on screen. Keep this code private. Then we’ll call you on the number you chose.

5. Read out the code

We’ll ask you to read out the code or key it in using the numbers on your phone. What happens if this doesn’t work?If we don’t have the correct phone number for you, or if something goes wrong, we’ll send the code by post. When it arrives, log on using the details you have just created and you’ll be asked to enter the code to complete your registration.

6. All done!

That’s it, you’ve set up your details and now you can log on to our Mobile Banking app or Internet Banking.

Keeping you safe

If we need to give you a code to use in our security check, we’ll only show it on your Internet Banking screen or by post if you have specifically requested this. 

Don’t trust anyone who gives you a code over the phone or webchat. Please keep this code private. You'll only get an automated call if you've requested one.

Our app is available to iPhone and Android users only and minimum operating systems apply, so check the App Store or Google Play for details. Our app does not work on jailbroken or rooted devices. Device registration required.
