Frequently asked questions


Why has my policy ended?

We regularly review the products we make available to our customers and we have decided that Renters Insurance will no longer be offered after 31 May 2022.

 

What if I have an open claim?

We will continue to process any claims for incidents that occurred on or before 31 May. See more information about claims in the FAQs below.

Claims FAQs

  • For claims submitted before 21 May 2022, please access your Policy Manager to track your claim status and find out if there is any information we require from you.

    We will keep you up to date on your claim by email so it’s important to make sure we have the correct email address.  If you need to update your email address you can do this in your Policy Manager.

    For claims submitted on or after 21 May 2022, we will keep you up to date on progress by email or phone. 

  • Your open claim will not be impacted by your policy ending on 31 May 2022.

    For claims submitted before 21 May 2022, please access your Policy Manager to track your claim status and find out if there is any information we require from you.

    We will keep you up to date on your claim by email so it’s important to make sure we have the correct email address.  If you need to update your email address you can do this in your Policy Manager.

    For claims submitted on or after 21 May 2022, we will keep you up to date on progress by email or phone. 

  • Head to the ‘Make a claim’ section at the top of this page and click the ‘Register your claim’ button. We will review your claim as soon as we’ve received all the details.
