Payments you set up today for a future date are counted towards today’s daily total. So if you set up a payment or standing order for next week, it will count towards today's limit.
Direct Debits don't count towards your total daily limit.

Important information for Direct Debits, standing orders, future-dated payments and cheque payments
What if the due date falls on a weekend or bank holiday?
If the payment date falls on a non-working day then we will try to make the payment on the next working day.
What if there isn't enough money in my account?
We'll try to make the payment shortly after midnight on the due date. If you don’t have enough funds in your account at that time, then we will try again after 2.30pm the same day.
This gives you the chance to put extra money into your account. The money you pay in needs to be available to use straight away. So you could transfer money from another personal account you have with us or pay in cash over the counter.
For standing orders and future-dated payments only - if there still isn't enough money in your account at 2.30pm, then we'll try one last time on the next working day, before rejecting the payment.
If a payment takes you overdrawn (all types of payment)
If you go overdrawn, you have until midnight to pay money into your account to avoid a daily overdraft fee for that day. Please see our rates and charges for details.
